Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 is set to premiere on September 30, 2026, with an early streaming debut on ABEMA. The show will also air on Tokyo MX and ABC TV on October 7. HIDIVE will stream the anime as it airs in Japan and will screen the North American premiere at Anime NYC. The season will feature new theme songs and a new key visual. The show's second season will continue the story of a sentient weapon with memories of his past life, who saves a young beastgirl from slavery. The weapon, a magical sword, becomes the wielder's companion, and they embark on a journey together. The show's first season premiered in October 2022 and aired on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, and BS Asahi. HIDIVE streamed the anime as it aired and also streamed an English dub. The series stars Ai Kakuma as Fran, Shinichiro Miki as Master, and Yuma Uchida as Jean du Vix.
